I Wont Be Sorry to See Suzanne Again

For over 40 years, I've shared my life in my cavalcade, the good and the bad. Sometimes information technology takes not bad effort to write, other times the words but pour from me. Today, I'one thousand going to run across how the words go onto the page. I won't know for sure until the end.

If you follow me on Facebook, you will already know that I'm currently on a special liquid nutrition. This was not my idea, only my doctor's.

In early Apr, I'll be having Robotic Paraesophageal Hernia repair with Fundoplication surgery and the surgeon wants to accept down some of the fat around my liver beforehand. The preoperative upper GI surgery diet has already rid a few pounds off my frame, and so I guess the diet is working.

It certain isn't easy staying away from the food I love, but I'thousand managing.

My diet consists of Premier Poly peptide drinks for breakfast, tiffin, and supper. I don't mind the gustatory modality of these drinks, besides much, except for the chocolate. Its flavour isn't exactly what I look from a chocolate drink, but I drink it anyway.

I'm as well supposed to beverage 64 ounces of clear liquids per day. I didn't practise well on this education the get-go day and became lightheaded. I'm really working on drinking more water, tea, and clear chicken goop now. Sugar-free Jell-o counts as a liquid.

I'm happy to say that my diet too includes two snacks, mid-morning and mid-afternoon. My snack selection list includes ½ sandwich on whole-grain bread (80-100 calories per piece), 1 piece of American cheese (not cheddar) and 3 ounces of lean deli meat (ham, turkey, or craven); Ane 6 ounce container of PLAIN Greek Yogurt; ½ cup cottage cheese (1-two%); or 1 cord cheese, with ane cup of raw vegetables.

I've found that I practise best with the half sandwich for my snacks. Even if I'm hungry I do non blitz eating. Information technology'southward best when I take little bites and chew a lot before swallowing. That manner information technology'southward easier on my tum and it also makes the snack terminal longer.

My refrigerator is most empty. If company comes they will have to go to the freezer for food to melt. There's meat at that place and all kinds of packaged leftover soups. It will be at to the lowest degree a calendar month before I can kickoff easing into a regular diet again.

My friend, Rosie, told me near her experiences going through a similar surgery some years ago. Fifty-fifty with boosted issues, she did fine with the diet. Oh, Rosie didn't like the diet either but she got through the weeks of protein drinks and is back to normal now. So, if Rosie can do it, and so can I.

Subsequently all these years of writing almost life on Sunnybook Subcontract, I had to include my readers in this part of my life. Hopefully, when warmer weather arrives, I'll be my old cocky again.
